Mustang Run provides a glimpse of a rapidly disappearing way of life on the Oregon rangelands.
It’s a story of Cowboys and Indians working together to preserve a way of life threatened with extinction.
Lansburgh and Mills have woven several stories together: An old stallion’s fight for survival, a pilot and a ranchwoman confront their differences to re-kindle an old romance, a young high schooler from the city tries to “fit in” with a new culture, a town struggles with government regulation. All set amidst the raging controversy over wild horses and their right to roam the range.
Horses, strong-willed women, native Americans, swooping helicopters and the threat of greedy villains combine to make for an exciting motion picture.
